Greetings from Mo-Ranch!

We are so excited to have you all with us for the Young Adult Retreat – March 20-22, 2026. Below is information that’s “good-to-know” prior to your arrival. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask, we are happy to help.

Please complete the Health & Release Form at the link below PRIOR to your arrival at Mo-Ranch. *A form is required for each participant.

We have switched from paper to a digital format for our Health & Release form. Please take a quick moment to complete this form prior to arrival at Mo-Ranch. Click on the link below and then click RSVP on the right. Check-In/Arrival:
·         Check-in begins at 4 p.m. in the Mabee Registration Building (see map attached and follow the white sandwich board signs). You are welcome to arrive earlier and explore the ranch! 

o    If you are planning to arrive after 6:00 p.m. – text Anna’s cell 830-456-6031 with your name and ETA so we can keep an eye out for you and tell you where to go when you arrive. You can also text Anna with questions anytime.

o    Our first official gathering is after dinner in Dishman Auditorium (in the Mabee building) at 7 p.m.

Closing/Departure:‍ ‍

·         Last scheduled event is at 10:00 am on Sunday.

·         Housing check-out is at 11 a.m., please be sure to plan accordingly with the weekend schedule to be out of your housing on time.

·         You are welcome to stay on ranch for the remainder of the day and explore as well! Please note that Wagon Wheel Café will be closed on Sunday so there will not be food options after breakfast.

Housing arrangements:

  • Beds are ready upon arrival, no need for blankets or pillows unless you love yours particularly.

  • Towels are in rooms and river towels are at the river and pool areas.

  • A limited number of mini shampoos, conditioners and bar soap are available (though I recommend bringing personal travel size of your favorite stuff from home).

  • Hotel accommodations do not have mini-fridges, microwaves, TVs or hair dryers, so please plan accordingly.

  • Group housing has a community fridge, ice machine and coffee pot available.

  • Final housing arrangements will be confirmed upon arrival.

Suggested packing list:

  • Casual clothing

  • Comfy clothes – pajamas, sweatpants, hoodies, etc. – we’re having a Comfy Clothes Party on Saturday evening

  • Comfortable walking shoes

  • Closed-toed shoes are required to participate in high rope activities.

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Flashlight (it is very dark here at night)

  • Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and any other toiletries

  • Sunblock, sunshades, and hats

  • Insect repellen

  • Rain jacket

  • Small tote bag or backpack (to easily carry belongings around ranch, e.g., notebook, water bottle, take things home, etc.)

  • Mo-Ranch has EV charging stations but if you have a Tesla, you will need to bring the adapter to charge your vehicle. Please know they’re not quick-charging stations.

Things to know beforehand:

·         Mo-Ranch address: 2229 FM 1340, Hunt, TX 78024 (for maps and weather apps)

·         Wagon Wheel Café will be open Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.

·         You may bring snacks and drinks with you but be mindful of the critters they attract and dispose of all trash, open snacks, and leftovers responsibly.
